After all the notably eminent performances over the years, Anila Sunder’s itch to create something new and more did not surpass; she was ‘unstoppable’. Bestowed with musically swift feet, a razor sharp mind & a persona that would touch and turn stone to gold, she kept mounting the pedestal, never to turn back, yet making sure her roots were firmly grounded.
Her passion of doing something different worked as an enrichment for us and she gifted us some memorable ballets:
Kathak is adored for its power of transforming the artists and the audience to another place. Its intricate choreography requires the performers to become an outlet through which art flows and drenches everyone around you. This feat can only be achieved by highly capable dancers like Anila Sundear, who has spent her life in pursuit of perfection and/ who believes this is to be the purpose of her life.
